OUR MUSHROOMS

In order to produce reliable yields of mushrooms, we use controlled environments. By controlling the  light, temperature, humidity, and fresh air exchange in the mushroom incubation and grow rooms, we can simulate the conditions that cause mushrooms to fruit naturally in the forest or field. In our facility, we currently produce oyster mushrooms on pasteurized straw in reusable containers. The spent straw is composted and contributes to the health of our soil. We also produce "spawn" of several other types of mushroom mycelium to do outdoor bulk substrate inoculations of oyster, shiitake, agaricus and winecap mushrooms in our gardens, forests, and compost.
